Dr. Michael Lam has a LOT of adrenal exhaustion related information available on his website: http://www.drlam.com/ You can sign up for free newsletters on the site. Dr. Lam is a Hong Kong doctor working in the US. It appears you can also get an initial consultation by phone if you live in the US. It seems that Dr. Lam really has a lot of technical understanding about the function of the adrenal glands, and I'm quite convinced by what he says. He also talks about clinical readings still not giving a full picture of what might be optimal or subobtimal (similar information was cited by the Optimal Health Clinic that I featured in an earlier post).
On the one hand, I'm skeptical about someone who makes a living from adrenal fatigue who is of course going to insist on total acceptance that something must be wrong with someones adrenals. On the other, I would love to be able to afford to visit a private specialist in this field, as for me, the adrenal issue remains the last hope to be able to reclaim at least some of my energy back. Oh for a lottery win right now!
